Arrias & Berg

Plot:
Audiovisual improvisations by Johan Arrias and Helene Berg. The concert has been performed at Khimaira, Larry's Corner, and Candyland.

Idea:
The collaboration developed during a residency at Khimaira in Stockholm in February 2022, where we experimented with how music and visuals can interact and draw inspiration from each other.

Process:
The film material consisted of loops and objects that could be used to create live animations, such as tape, markers, water, and cut-out light filters. The clips were streamed and mixed layer by layer using VDMX and projected onto various surfaces.
